Kmytiv Fine Arts Museum named after Bukhanchuk, Zhytomyr Region

In Ukraine. there are not many village museums, and even fewer of them are interesting. Among them, we have Kmytiv Fine Arts Museum named after Bukhanchuk. While most big Ukrainian museums are located in historical buildings or other spaces, not adapter for museum needs, in 1984 in Kmytiv, Zhytomyr region a new 3000 square meter museum building was constructed. The museum houses a unique collection of socialist realism works from various national art schools of the USSR.

The Museum Crisis Center supported the staff of the Kmytiv Museum, as well as many other museums in Ukraine. After the victory, we need to tell the true story of Ukraine in the historical realities in which it found itself..
