Support of Chernihiv Region Museums

The war made many adjustments to the lives of Ukrainians. It has not spared museum workers, who preserve and popularize what has been collected and preserved by many generations of Ukrainians.

Museum workers in Chernihiv region have organized a great deal of work to preserve the heritage of the Ukrainian people in these terrible times. At the same time, almost every museum in the region found itself in a situation that required help. A number of museum workers have not been paid since February 24 or have received a small percentage of their salaries. At this time, financial support for museum workers who found themselves in difficult life circumstances or who remained in the occupied territories and were in hot spots was very important. Chernihiv region was one of the first to experience enemy aggression.
The Museum Crisis Center has provided financial assistance to many museum workers in Chernihiv region who applied for help and needed it badly.

The Department of Culture and Tourism, Nationalities and Religions of the Regional State Administration and the museum community of Chernihiv region express their gratitude to the Museum Crisis Center for the assistance provided.
